There is an increasing acceptance that Holistic Health Care [HHC] is more effective than Traditional Western Medicine. Humans are complex, multi-dimensional beings who respond to positive stimulus on all levels—mind, body and spirit—and that to leave one aspect out also denies the others. Wellness is more than physical. Healthy and fulfilled individuals make better contributions to themselves and the world.

Holistic Health Care practices seek to work with the entire being so that all aspects of life are positive, productive and balanced. The society of the future realizes that being healthy and self-realized, results in a happier life.

A growing number of medical schools have begun teaching courses in Holistic Health Care; more private insurance plans have begun to recognize the utility of some forms of HHC and have offered coverage in conjunction with conventional treatments; and, in 1992, a Congressional mandate established the Office of Alternative Medicine, a small entity within the National Institutes of Health that was chartered to assess alternative therapies. Its annual budget has grown every year since 1993 and, between 1997 and 1998, increased from $12 million to $20 million.

According to a nationwide government survey released in May 2004, 36 percent of U.S. adults aged 18 years and over use some form of HHC. NCCAM, National Institutes of Health A Prevention Magazine 2002 survey of consumer use of dietary supplements revealed that an estimated 158 million consumers use dietary supplements and spend approximately $8.5 billion per year. An estimated 22.8 million consumers use herbal remedies instead of prescription medicine, and an estimated 19.6 million use them with a prescription product. Similarly, an estimated 30.3 million use herbals instead of an over-the-counter drug (OTC), while approximately 19 million use herbals and OTC’s together.

In 2002, Geoffrey Cowley, Senior Editor of NEWSWEEK reported, “We make more visits to non-conventional healers (some 600 million a year) than we do to MDs, and we spend more of our own money for the privilege–about $30 billion a year by recent estimates.”

Use of Holistic Health Care in the U.S:

In the United States, 36% of adults are using some form of Holistic Health Care. When megavitamin therapy and prayer specifically for health reasons are included, that number rises to 62%.

Lifestyles of Health and Sustainability (LOHAS) describes a $228.9 billion U.S. marketplace for goods and services focused on health, the environment, social justice, personal development and sustainable living. The consumers attracted to this market have been collectively referred to as Cultural Creatives and represent a sizable group in this country. Approximately 36 percent of the adults in the U.S., or 60 million people, are currently embracing a holistic lifestyle.

Health Conditions Prompting Holistic Health Care Use:

People use HHC for a wide array of diseases and conditions. According to a survey, Americans are most likely to use HHC for back, neck, head, or joint aches, or other painful conditions; colds; anxiety or depression; gastrointestinal disorders; or sleeping problems. It appears that HHC is most often used to treat and/or prevent musculoskeletal conditions or other conditions involving chronic or recurring pain.

Reasons for Holistic Health Care:

The survey asked people to select from five reasons to describe why they used HHC. Results were as follows (people could select more than one reason):

•	HCC would improve health: 55%

•	HCC would be interesting to use: 50%

•	Conventional medical treatments would not help: 28%

•	A conventional medical professional suggested HCC: 26%

•	Conventional medical treatments are too expensive: 13%

Results for Holistic Health Care:

No reports of deaths caused by Holistic Health Care have been published. It is fair to assume that if there were deaths caused by HHC the reports would be judiciously reported as the AMA is searching for ways to discredit and discount HHC practices.

Results for Traditional Western Medicine Health Care:

In 2001, the top 50 medical and surgical procedures totaled approximately 41.8 million. These figures were taken from the Healthcare Cost and Utilization Project within the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality.13 Using 17.6 percent from the 1974 U.S. Congressional House Subcommittee Oversight Investigation as the percentage of unnecessary surgical procedures, and extrapolating from the death rate in 1974, we come up with an unnecessary procedure number of 7.5 million (7,489,718) and a death rate of 37,136, at a cost of $122 billion (using 1974 dollars).

Problems involving patients’ medications were even higher the following year. The error rate intercepted by pharmacists in this study was 24%, making the potential minimum number of patients harmed by prescription drugs 417,908.50.

The leading causes of adverse drug reactions are antibiotics (17%), cardiovascular drugs (17%), chemotherapy (15%), and analgesics and anti-inflammatory agents (15%).11.

•	The World Health Organization in 2000 ranked the United States 37th out of 191 countries in health care services.

• U.S. life expectancy is nearly three years shorter on average than Canadians’ and about two years less than that of the French.

• The United States spent more than $6,000 per person on health care in 2004, about double what France, Germany and Canada spent per capita.

Sources: World Health Organization, United Nations, Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development

Results for Holistic Mental Health Care:

American Health Magazine reported these findings from a comparison study.

• Psychoanalysis: Creates a 38% recovery after 600 sessions

• Behavior Therapy: Creates a 72% recovery after 22 sessions

• Hypnosis: Creates a 93% recovery after 6 sessions

Results for Society:

What does this mean for society, if society understands and participates in the benefits of Holistic Health Care?

•	Few, if any sick days.

• Reduced absenteeism for businesses. CCH survey, conducted by Harris Interactive ®, the average per-employee cost of absenteeism was $789 per year in 2002, up from $755 in 2001, while the absenteeism rate declined slightly to 2.1 percent from 2.2 percent in 2001.

•	No adverse reactions/side effects.

•	Minimal short and long-term disability expenses.

•	Live a healthy and productive life.

•	Live a healthy longer life.

•	Few, if any age related illnesses.

Such companies as Apple, Google, Yahoo, AstraZeneca, IBM, 3M, Cisco, Solectron, Knokia, NASA, Sun Microsystems, Pacific Stock Exchange, Texas Instruments, Raytheon, Vortel Network offer free on-site classes in meditation.

The motivation is clear meditation increases concentration, boosts intuition, relieves fatigue, reves up creativity and enhances organization skills.

With horses, a holistic approach considers everything and anything that could affect a horse’s health. It works with the healing forces of your horse to either remove blockages or supply what is needed.

Such an approach to horse care means asking what the body is attempting to achieve with its response. It also asks why the illness has occurred. And another important question, how the body may best be supported.

When horses are treated with a holistic approach to medicine all aspects that support or detract from their health are considered. With conventional medicine focus is on the disease and treatment of it. It is not just a choice between using conventional medicine with drugs and using a holistic approach utilizing natural substances.

Veterinarian’s using holistic methods have found their patients usually have less resistance and are at least as healthy if not more so after treatment. They also find there are fewer side effects. At the first signs of illness symptoms must be considered. Usually this is handled by suppression, palliation, and cure.

Suppressing signs of illness without finding the root cause can provide some form of relief. But often signs come back again and possibly even worse. Instead with a holistic healing method a cause for the signs and not the illness signs are the focus. Curing the cause of the sign will help the body become healthy and balanced again.

When signs of horse illness are suppressed they may disappear but the overall health of the horse may suffer for it. This can happen when very strong drugs are used. An example of this method would be the use of steroids for treatment of an allergic reaction of the skin. The “rash” may go away with the use of steroids but you may also see an undesirable change in your horses behavior such as aggression in a horse that previously was not aggressive.

When illness signs are palliated as a course of treatment signs often return soon after the treatment stops. Many times it can require larger doses of medicine in order to control the signs. This does not concentrate on the disease and often it will advance the disease.

For instance giving a horse bute for arthritis pain is a sample of palliation. The discomfort for your horse is eased but does not cure the condition. Curing a horse involves a comprehensive look at his management, personality, and his nutrition.

For example an arthritic hose may be provided nutritional support to help cartilage heal faster in his body. Also a look at ways to protect his joints and some rest with the addition of antioxidants may be beneficial.

With a holistic approach the whole horse is considered not just a symptom. Signs of an illness tell us the horse is fighting an outside “invasion”. When a horse is healthy you will see a shiny coat, bright eyes and a playful spirit.

A pets well-being manifests the type of nurturing afforded to it. While a number of pet owners have become quite adept in the ways of rearing healthy cats, wrongful notions often mislead many over feline nutrition to compromise cat health in the process. What seems to be a typical cat owner flaw in the context of nutrition is the tendency to match the food intake of felines with the diet of either canines or humans. Pet owners should keep in mind that cats are obligate carnivores; therefore they have nutritional needs that are dissimilar from that of their owners and even from dogs.

An ideal approach to animal health care would require the willful adherence to holistic methods of cat health care and nutrition that will most likely produce healthy and disease-free felines. Moreover, the holistic approach would involve application of alternative treatments such as a pet herbal supplement formula whenever pet diseases come about. So whether it is a sprightly kitten or a cat in her prime that you are rearing, there are a handful of holistic cat healthcare methods and pet herbal supplement products that will not only serve to extend the life of your pet, but guarantee its sustained vigor even beyond the geriatric stage.

Nutrition

Animal-based proteins contain critical amino acids that are essential to sustained cat health. Thus, it is necessary for pet owners to feed cats with sizable proportions of whole meat products instead of meat by-products and fillings, to ensure that the feline meets its daily nutritional needs. Cats easily succumb to chronic dehydration, and feeding should likewise be adequately supplemented with water to prevent this condition, as well as the onset of kidney and bladder troubles borne of a sustenance based on dry food. More importantly, grains should only make a minute proportion of the feed considering that carbohydrates is not essential to cat health and could only disrupt the felines metabolic functions to cause diabetes, obesity, and irritable bowel disease.

Disease Treatment and Prevention

Cat urinary tract infection and ear mites are just a few of the many pet diseases that materialize as a consequence of improper pet feeding practices. Know that too much vaccination and prolonged use of antibiotics can disrupt your pets healthy gut flora and impair the immune system as well, which would not do well in the fight against systemic pathogens so that simple infections could severely debilitate cat health eventually. A more holistic approach would be the administration of pet herbal supplement formulas; a combination of potent herbal remedies available in therapeutic doses that work to soothe the symptoms while treating the underlying causes of the disease. Moreover, a pet herbal supplement formula operates as a tonic to revive the functioning of a diseased organ and restore the well being of your pet. To top it all, a bottle of pet herbal supplement will not bring about the side effects typical with veterinary medicine. Adopt the holistic methods to pet health care today and nurture your pets well-being the right way.

Holistic health care for cats is a movement that is gaining popularity among veterinary surgeons and owners alike who wish to consider alternatives to traditional veterinary care. Reports suggest that cats are falling ill far more frequently than before; many experts think this is partly due to the diets owners give their cats, and partly due to the onslaught of vaccinations and drugs that are now used to treat all kinds of feline illnesses and conditions.

Holistic veterinary surgeons believe that prevention is better than cure. It is far more important to maintain the well-being of your cat, rather than concentrating on relieving signs and symptoms of illnesses. Holistic practitioners assert that symptoms hint at an underlying health condition and left untreated, your cat’s health could be severely compromised in the long run.

Holistic and traditional vets are now of the opinion that a raw diet is far preferable to the standard canned and kibbled cat food that is available on the market. Studies have shown that cats fed on raw, wholefood diets are more robust and have greater resistance to the illnesses generally associated with age related degeneration.

Holistic vets believe that cat wellness treatments are not only about the treatment of disease but about prevention as well. By building up your cat’s immune system with the correct and natural diet, and supplemented with suitable therapy, your cat will have a far better quality of life. This translates into a better groomed and happy cat, with improvements in the condition of your cat’s fur, general disposition, better dentition and a lifelong freedom from allergies and infectious diseases.

Rather than resorting to intrusive injections or applications of harsh chemicals to treat fleas and ticks, holistic vets can provide natural alternatives which are just as effective against these parasites yet cause little or no harm to the cat. Holistic vets rely on preparations of nosodes rather than vaccinations, believing that these preparations that use a microscopic portion of diseased tissue will help to stimulate the cat’s natural immune system into building up stronger defences. This holistic treatment is based on the similar premise that smallpox vaccinations in humans use the smallpox virus to build up defences in the immunity system.

The range of therapies are as wide as those available to human clients of any homeopathy or natural health clinic. Statistics from numerous studies conducted do show benefits that can be gained from these therapies. Holistic vets promote alternative natural remedies in place of traditional treatments, and provide holistic therapies, aimed to promote and care for the overall wellbeing and happiness of the animal.

Many sceptics might be surprised to learn that homeopath and acupuncture are established and successful forms of treatment for many feline conditions. In addition, cat owners report drastic improvements and increased rates of recovery in their animals. Other alternative forms of treatment would include osteopathy, physiotherapy and healing. The trend of holistic healthcare for felines is gaining momentum and the public have displayed positive interest in this branch of veterinary care.

Holistic, Metaphysical, Energy or Mind, Body, Spirit healing has existed since the beginning of time amid religious beliefs and practices, along with the mystery, superstition, fear, and misunderstanding. Holistic Healing is now becoming recognized regardless of what anyone chooses to believe or think.

•	According to CNN one-half of all medical schools now offer courses in holistic health care.

• Almost one-third of American medical schools-among them Harvard, Yale, John’s Hopkins, and Georgetown Universities-now offer coursework in holistic methods.

•	There are five homeopathic hospitals in Great British National Service.

• Traditional Chinese medicine has been chosen by the World Health Organization for worldwide propagation to meet the heath care needs of the twenty-first century.

•	One out of three drugs prescribed in Germany is an herb.

• The World Health Organization estimates that between 65 to 80 percent of the world’s population (about 3 billion people) rely on holistic medicine as their primary form of health care.

• In 1993, American consumers spent almost $1.5 billion dollars on herbal remedies-ten times more than was spent on over-the-counter sleeping pills from grocery stores and drug stores.

•	Worldwide, only 10 to 30 percent of people use conventional medicine, 70 to 90 percent use holistic medicine.

• Approximately $22 million of U.S. government money has already been spent on alternative medical research since 1992 at the National Institutes of Health and Public Health Services.

• The American Medical Association (AMA), in Resolution #514, “is encouraging its members to become better in-formed regarding holistic medicine and to participate in appropriate studies of it.

•	Mutual of Omaha says it saves about $6.50 in covering non-standard (holistic) treatments.

•	74 percent of the American population, desire a more natural approach to health care.

• Of the one out of three Americans who say they have used holistic medicine techniques, 84 percent said they would use it again.

•	The U.S. government sponsors the use of acupuncture in drug rehabilitation programs.

•	One out of every ten Americans is under the care of a chiropractor.

• In 1991, Americans made more visits to unconventional health care providers (425 million) than to conventional doctors (388 million).

•	One out of three Americans were using unconventional medicine in 1991.

•	Americans spent almost $13.7 billion on unconventional health care in 1991.

•	75 percent of that $13.7 billion (above) was out of pocket.

• 12 percent of Fortune 500 companies offer alternative medicine as part of their health care compensation packages. That percentage was expected to increase to 18 percent by the end of 1996.

• National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine (NCCAM) A nationwide government survey of more than 31,000 adults on their use of complimentary and alternative medicine (CAM) showed that 36 percent of U.S. adults use some form of CAM.

Have you thought of the concept of a ‘benevolent dictator’—ahem—dentist who told you what had to be done to your teeth?

Dentists, who practice holistic dentistry believe that it is essential for a dentist to listen, ask questions and seek to understand your dental situation and wishes. The initial dental discussion is experienced in a relaxed comfortable person-to-person exchange—not in the dental chair, tilted backward with the light shining in your eyes as if you are in an interrogation room.

Holistic dentistry consists of treatment that combines accurate diagnosis and planning for care while considering the elements of physical, social, emotional and spiritual needs of the individual. Holistic dentistry provides the education and information you need; and allows you the opportunity to choose options for treatment that you can feel good about.

The future of your total health can be compromised by the condition of your teeth, gum tissue and bones. Oral health is crucial to your well-being, yet it is easily neglected even with conscious effort to maintain good dental health.

Holistic dentistry includes Essential Oils to augment the treatment of gum and bone disease. You will notice careful consideration is taken to ensure that the time you spend is as comfortable as possible. Holistic dentistry uses only composite materials made of a plastic resin and a filler of finely ground glass-like particles. These materials can be blended and matched to the color of the existing tooth.

The procedure to fill a tooth with composites is more precise and takes longer to perform than an amalgam filling. These materials are bonded to the remaining tooth structure. This gives the filling a strong and secure attachment to the remaining tooth.

You might need to spend time searching for a holistic dentist, but in the end it is well-worth the effort. You can be assured the care you receive will be safe, effective and patient centered.

The Western medicine community recently asked the question: Will Alternative Healthcare, a.k.a. Holistic, Metaphysical, Energy or Mind, Body, Spirit healing and Western Medicine (WM) merge? This question implies there is reason to wonder and/or we need to consider the benefits a merger might create. The consideration of merging Holistic, Metaphysical, Energy or Mind, Body, Spirit healing and Western Medicine is analogues to comparing apples to oranges. The only comparison between apples and oranges is that they are both fruit—but the comparison ends there. Holistic, Metaphysical, Energy or Mind, Body, Spirit Healing and Western Medicine is diametrically polar opposites with nothing in common, except the subject (you). I will explain.

In order to understand the ideology of Western Medicine, you need to examine the language used by doctors and researchers. Their choice of words reveals their belief systems and the models they use to understand the way they think healing works. When observing the state of Western Medicine and the unprecedented influence of pharmaceuticals and over-the-counter (OTC) drugs, an interesting paradox arises. The drug companies claim that pharmaceuticals and OTC can do wonders for people: lower cholesterol, end clinical depression, reverse osteoporosis, eliminate allergies, cure cancer, cure MS, calm children and many other similar promises.

If prescription or OTC drugs are so good for people, where are all the healthy medicated customers? The truth is, there aren’t, any. There’s nobody taking twelve prescriptions or OTC drugs with a clean bill of health. In fact, the more prescriptions a person takes, the worse their overall health. And if you approach the healthiest people you can find and ask what prescription drugs or OTC drugs they’re taking in order to be so healthy, they’ll give you a confused look: Healthy people don’t take prescription or OTC drugs!

This sort of language is not uncommon from researchers in Western Medicine. They perceive the human body as a battleground on which wars are waged against invaders (viruses, bacterial infections and tumors). Beginning with the Victorian era, Western society has become addicted to quick fixes and results with no effort. Western Medicine has in some instances provided this result. When Western Medicine doesn’t produce a ‘quick fix’ result the answer is: “Sorry, it couldn’t be helped—the surgery was a success, the patient died.” It is interesting to note the AMA reports a dismal success rate—approximately 250,000 people die each year due to misdiagnosis and/or the treatment does little or nothing to improve the person’s health. In other words these people didn’t die due to an illness they died due to the wrong treatment.

Western Medicine’s theory and doctrines fail to recognize that diseases are not separate from the person. In fact every disease can be more accurately called an expression of the patient’s lifestyle, beliefs, and energies. Cancer is not a tumor, for example: it is a systemic disorder that can only truly be cured by helping to support the body, not by attacking it with chemical bombs or knives. The tumor is merely one physical expression of the systemic disorder, and simply removing the tumor does nothing to cure the disease. The body is designed to heal itself—given it has the proper care—nutrition, herbal supplements, spiritual and emotional well-being.

The body is designed to heal itself provided it has the proper support to do its job. Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) is based on a concept of balanced qi (pronounced “chee”), or vital energy, that is believed to flow throughout the body. Qi is proposed to regulate a person’s spiritual, emotional, mental, and physical balance and to be influenced by the opposing forces of yin (negative energy) and yang (positive energy). Disease is proposed to result from the flow of qi being disrupted and yin and yang becoming imbalanced. Among the components of TCM are herbal and nutritional therapy, restorative physical exercises, meditation, acupuncture, and remedial massage.

Ask almost anyone about their spiritual well-being and they will probably tell you, “Yeah, I am a spiritual person, I go to church frequently.” Therein, the confusion arises out of the association of healing with religion. The majority of people, including religious leaders, do not understand the difference.

Definition: “HEAL” 1. To restore to health or soundness, 2. To set right, repair, 3. To restore a person to spiritual wholeness, 4. To become whole and sound, to return to health.

Definition: “SPIRIT” 1. The vital principle or animating force within living beings, Incorporeal consciousness. There are about twelve more elaborations mostly to do with various religious implications.

Definition: “RELIGION” 1. Belief in and reverence for a supernatural power or powers regarded as creator and governor of the universe, 2. A set of beliefs, values and practices based on the teachings of a religious doctrine.

Thus, based on Western Medicine’s common interpretations of how things ‘ARE’, many paradoxes are created. The resultant effect is confusion and un-wellness. The Truth, as Carl Jung and others have carefully worded in their writing, is this: Every Thing in the universe is Energy and Consciousness. How anyone thinks or feels about that Fact cannot change it. The purpose of All religions is the recognition that humans have a part of themselves that is not physical and there is a need to explore and experience this aspect of themselves. Part of the intent is to discover one’s purpose and to live in the best way possible. Another part of that goal also includes the attainment of Truth and Spiritual Wellness. However, the result of religious teachings with regard to our Spiritual health has been an abysmal failure. If the most important aspect of our being is our Spiritual self, and it has been neglected, it is a miracle we have existed this long.

Many churches are in a state of extreme confusion in an attempt to avoid accepting the “Truth.” The greatest struggle is how to incorporate all the now known knowledge and assimilate it into the religious dogma and theology. The problem is the impossibility of reconciling the obvious flaws in most theology and doctrine. The obvious shortcomings and how political and nationalistic and other special interests and agendas have resulted in a history filled with disappointment, tragedy, confusion and religious wars.

In many cultures it has always been thought and/or known that we are spiritual beings, the biggest exception is in western industrialized cultures that we believe we are people who happen to have a soul. Eastern philosophy believes we are a soul first, housed in this thing called a ‘body.’ The most beautiful and simple interpretation of how everything ‘IS’ can be found in the Native American tradition. “Everything in the universe is Spirit, each thing in it is of the same Spirit and it is all Connected.” This is exactly what we are beginning to understand in science and quantum physics, that everything in the universe is made of the same thing and has a consciousness about it. The two things that frustrate scientists the most is the fact that all these
things operate across time, space and dimensions they do not yet understand, and the ability of things to operate on inter-dimensional and multi-dimensional levels. A high degree of new understanding about the science and physics of what spiritual really means is now mostly coming from independent researchers. High-tech and aerospace research physicists and scientists, all seem to have a more concise and accurate understanding of Spirit and the Spiritual than those from a theological background.

The Reality and The Truth of Spirit—In plain language, there is only One God or Universal Energy that Is Everything. There is only One Consciousness. We are only one individuated expression of The One. All the dogma, theology and religious beliefs anyone chooses to pile on this truth is commonly referred to as Bunk. It is the lack of true knowledge and the application of these distortions, which have been the source of all emotional, physical and spiritual problems. Spirit is alive, it is something that is lived and experienced, the surest way to destroy or suppress it is to organize it and institutionalize it.

Spiritual Experiences teach us: Everything we think or feel affects oneself and others. We need to realize every feeling—anger, fear, hate, sadness, judgment—are mind generated emotions and need to be modified or eliminated. Left to fester—anger, fear, hate, sadness, judgment, creates physical reactions. For every physical reaction, a.k.a. symptoms—i.e. colds, cancer, MS, and everything from A to Z, there is a direct link to mind generated emotions. When these mind generated emotions are eliminated and the wounds created from long term and dysfunctional expressions are healed, the physical manifestation labeled as illness by Western Medicine is eliminated.

The bottom line is Health and Well-Being is affected by two factions—Doctors and Ministers. Doctors are trained as mechanics who work on the physical mechanism. They are in the Business of “Treatment.” They are Not Trained in the “Art of Healing”. Most doctors do not even understand the most rudimentary concepts of Healing. Most do not realize how they can produce damage and even induce death sentences on their patients.

There is little difference in the effects produced by an intentional damaging curse or a prayer prayed improperly, bad advice or simply some random negative thought. Ministers are trained in traditional theosophical dogmatic perceptions specific to the cultural religious views they ascribe to. Most people have little concept about True Spirituality or how the universe really operates. As a consequence they convey misinformation, half-truths, superstitions and fears along with a multitude of associated damaging information into a person’s consciousness. The result of which is Confusion and Paradox—which leads to distress, disease and un-wellness.

Both the good in our lives and the dis-eases we have are the results of our experiences, conditioning and beliefs. It is the experiences, conditioning and beliefs that are counter to our true nature that causes the damage. No matter how dire a client’s predicament seems to be, I Know if they are ‘Willing’ to do the emotional and spiritual work of releasing old habits, beliefs and forgiving, everything can be healed. The word ‘incurable’ used by Western Medicine really only means that the person can not be ‘cured’ by ‘outer’ methods and that they must Go Within to effect their healing. The condition was created as a way to cope—it came from within and can be healed from within. Reference: Heal Your Body, Louise L. Hay

Since Holistic/Metaphysical Healthcare focuses on supporting the Mind, Body, Spirit to heal itself as it is designed to do and Western Medicine perceives the human body as a battleground on which wars are waged with chemical bombs and scalpels against invaders, how can these divergent ideologies be merged?

The answer: They can’t be—i.e. water and vinegar doesn’t mix—it is metaphysically impossible. Likewise, it is metaphysically impossible to merge Holistic, Metaphysical, Energy or Mind, Body, Spirit healing and Western Medicine. Anyone who would consider such a merger does not understand the laws of Holistic, Metaphysical, Energy or Mind, Body, Spirit healing.
